MUSCAT — The committee of Sanad Programme for individual initiatives adopted the idea of setting up additional awards for productive and services technological projects.
This initiative is considered a new addition to the achievements accomplished in reinforcing self employment and supporting the individual projects through encouraging job-seekers to start their own small or medium enterprises and supporting business men and women at different levels. The inauguration of Sanad Award 2012 came at the same time of announcing the completion of 10 years of the launch of Sanad Programme to expand the areas of focus of the programme.
The best 10 projects in the economic field will be rewarded, including the best project
idea which makes the Sanad Award different and renewed by adding new awards for different categories.
The media and advertisement committee will start receiving the applications of nomination for specified awards in 10 different economic sectors and the nomination will last one month.
The categories of the awards will be as follows: the best project idea for students of universities, colleges and schools, the best project benefited from the finance support, the best office of Sanad branches, the best project designed by a productive family, the best project for women tailoring, best project in IT, and best project at small service projects.
