MUSCAT — McDonald’s Oman newest restaurant at Darsait is reaping the benefits of its pre-eminent location at LuLu Darsait to attract streams of customers of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds.
The outlet, overlooking the busy Darsait junction, perhaps enjoys the most vantage of all locations of McDonald’s restaurants anywhere in the Sultanate. Built as an exclusive, standalone outlet, it stands at the crossroads of important carriageways leading to Muttrah, Ruwi, CBD and Qurum, and is thus able to capitalise on the large volumes of traffic crisscrossing this intersection to woo customers.
As with McDonald’s outlets elsewhere around the capital city, the Darsait outlet’s overall design and décor have the appeal of a family-friendly eatery. Not surprisingly, families are a constant feature of the outlet’s clientele at any given time.
