First Japan Fan Club meeting held

MUSCAT — George Hisaeda, Ambassador of Japan to Oman, held the 1st Japan Fan Club meeting at his residence.
It was attended by His Highness Sayyid Dr Adham bin Turki al Said, Her Highness Sayyida Basma bint Fakhri al Said and nearly 40 club members. The club was established this year for the people in Oman who are interested in Japanese culture.
At the meeting, Ambassador Hisaeda thanked the members for their support for various cultural events held by the Embassy of Japan earlier this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Oman. He also hoped for the continued assistance from the members for upcoming events scheduled for the rest of the year.
