Oman-Iran relations discussed

MUSCAT — His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received in his office here yesterday Hussein Nosh Abadi, Ambassador of Iran to the Sultanate, who handed over a written message to Sayyid Fahd from Dr Mohammed Reza Rahimi, First Vice-President of Iran, which dealt with the relations between the two friendly countries and supported the communication between them.

The meeting reviewed the situation prevailing in the region and its economic, social and security impact on the region’s stability, as well as the efforts being taken to deal with the resultant implications. The ambassador conveyed his country’s appreciation for the Sultanate’s stances, which reflect His Majesty the Sultan’s vision that focuses on maintaining security and stability to preserve the achievements of the nations in the region. — ONA
