MUSCAT — The Tender Board yesterday held its 21st meeting for 2012 under the auspices of Dr Rasheed bin al Safi al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board.
The meeting awarded RO 50,416,573 worth of tenders for the following projects:
Supply of medicines for the Health Ministry for 2012 (RO 15,220,952).
Construction of bridges over Salalah — Muscat road crossroad with Al Rabat road and dual-carriageway of Al Rabat road till Al Dahareez roundabout in Salalah city (RO 12,165,734).
Construction of transformer station (132/33 KV) and extension of power cables (132 KV) in Ghala in the Governorate of Muscat (RO 10,301,220).
Operation and maintenance of the power generation plants of the Rural Areas Electricity Company in the Governorate of Al Wusta (RO 4,676,634).
Supply, installation and operation of medical equipment for the National Heart Centre at the Royal Hospital (RO 2,720,250). Construction of a bridge over Wadi Bani Hani in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq in the Governorate of South Al Batinah (RO 1,722,650).
Additional works for the provision of consultancy services for the National Records and Archives Authority’s building and Oman Cultural Complex project (RO 907,400). Maintenance of SMS and MMS units and equipment for Omantel (RO 752,000).
Additional works for the design and construction of internal roads in the Wilayat of Bidiyah in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah (RO 539,230).
Additional works for the construction of a building for Oman Electricity Transmission Company in Al Mawaleh South in the Wilayat of A’Seeb (RO 481,203). Additional works for the construction of 3 crossroads over the public road in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan in the Governorate of South Al Sharqiyah (RO 235,568).
Additional works for the provision of consultancy services for the supervision on the technical facilities of the TV digital studios complex (RO 178,561).
Additional works for the supply of medicines for the Health Ministry (RO 137,790). Maintenance of tools and equipment at hospitals and health units in the Governorate of Mussandam (RO 104,117).
Availing data from Eumestat (RO 104,709). Provision of the maintenance and spare parts supply services for the Philips Cath Lab at the Royal Hospital (RO 102,750). Additional works for the pavement of Maawel village in the Wilayat of Bahla in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah (RO 65,795). — ONA
