1,126 secure private jobs

MUSCAT — The National Manpower Employment Index shows that 1,126 citizens received jobs in private sector establishments last week, (July 27-August 1), with 36 per cent of the workers employed in the construction sector, 18.8 per cent in the sector of wholesale, retail, automobile repair and personal/household goods and 10.6 per cent in the converting industries sector. The recruits were employed in accordance with approved contracts, with salaries ranging from RO 450 to RO 6,600.
