MUSCAT — The Oman under-19 volleyball team will camp in Sohar from today as part of their preparations for the GCC Youth Volleyball Championship to be hosted in Saudi Arabia in August. The Omanis, who are being coached by former Seeb Club coach Ismail al Toqi of Jordan, will be training in Sohar till the middle of June. After the Sohar camp, the team are scheduled to leave for Jordan for an external training camp. In Jordan, the Omanis will also take part in a friendly tournament involves teams from Syrian and Iraq as well as two Jordan squads.
