MUSCAT — The US Embassy hosted a “Young Entrepreneurs Reception” at the Intercontinental Muscat in honour of Dan Mullaney, Assistant United States Trade Representative for Europe and the Middle East.
The reception was held on the occasion of the US-Oman Free Trade Agreement Joint Committee to celebrate the bright future of Omani entrepreneurs, who can take advantage of the good economic relations between the US and the Sultanate of Oman.
In addition to Assistant Trade Representative Mullaney, officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry US Embassy officials, and representatives from Omani higher education institutions, business, and private sector organisations were in attendance at the event.
“We are delighted to celebrate Oman’s young entrepreneurs this evening,” said Chargé d'Affaires W Johann Schmonsees. “We hope that many of our entrepreneur guests will be able to take advantage of this excellent networking opportunity and learn more about the unparalleled benefits to US and Omani business communities from the Free Trade Agreement.”
