MUSCAT — Ibra College of Technology is all set to organise an event on June 23 for the alumni of its graduates from the Department of Business Studies.
The event will be held on the college premises under the auspices of the Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Shaikh Salah al Mawali and Abdullah al Hattali, Assistant Director, Directorate of Employment, Ministry of Manpower.
Dr Qasim al Mara’shi, Dean, Ibra College, said, “The gathering will be a unique opportunity for the graduates of the Business Department to come back to their alma mater that equipped them with the necessary skills and competency to become the effective professionals they are today.
The event will focus on sharing of experiences by the alumni, most of whom are now employed with major public and private sector organisations in the Sultanate.
It will also be an opportunity for the graduates to refresh their memories of their college life and to also meet up with their teachers and former college mates.
The gathering will also initiate the formation of an Alumni Association which would support and enhance the college’s mission of creating professionals who will contribute effectively to the Sultanate’s ongoing economic development.
The dean said, “We invite all the business graduates to come and be part of this gathering which will be the beginning of many more to come.”
