ANKARA — Turkish President Abdullah Gul has hailed the progress achieved by the Sultanate under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos since the outset of the Omani Renaissance led and inspired by His Majesty’s wise leadership. Gul described his visit to the Sultanate, which begins today, as an important step in the bilateral march. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the kind invitation.
The visit, said President Gul, “will allow us to review all aspects of this co-operation and to discuss all issues related to developing bilateral relations. I am really happy with this visit.” Gul pointed out that political relations between the Sultanate and Turkey are witnessing good progress. “Therefore I believe that all other aspects of co-operation should keep pace with these political relations, including commercial and economic relations with all GCC countries,” he added.
