SOHAR — The annual camel race organised by the Oman Camel Racing Association for four days concluded here yesterday under 
the auspices of Shaikh Saif bin Mohammed al Shabibi, Minister of Housing.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, ministers, members of Majlis Addawla and Majlis Ash'shura, shaikhs, officials, walis and members of the public.
Five races were run yesterday and winners received valuable prizes in cash and kind.
During the races, a number of traditional camel shows were performed by camel owners. — ONA
