MUSCAT — Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser al Bakri, Manpower Minister, yesterday discussed with Steven Joyce, Tertiary Education, Economic Development, Science and Innovation Minister and Assistant Minister of Finance of New Zealand, areas of co-operation in labour, technical education and vocational training.
Meanwhile, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry, also received Joyce and his delegation and discussed with the means of enhancing bilateral relations.
Joyce also visited Sultan Qaboos University yesterday in order to explore collaboration in higher education among the universities in his country and SQU. The minister was received by HH Sayyida Dr Mona bint Fahd al Said, Assistant Vice- Chancellor for External Co-operation, SQU. — ONA
