By A Staff Reporter — MUSCAT — Omantel’s free Wi-Fi service is now available now at BankMuscat’s Head Office. The Wi-Fi service will complement the value-added services provided by BankMuscat to its customers and visitors. The Wi-Fi service provided by Omantel is the preferred choice for corporate subscribers in the Sultanate, as shown by the growing demand for the service since its launch several years ago. It enables corporate customers to add more value to the services they provide to their customers.
This partnership would enable the visitors of the Head Office of BankMuscat to use the wireless Internet through their laptops, tablets or Wi-Fi-enabled smart phones. To get the benefit of this service, the customer needs to access the main page of the service and enter his phone number to receive a text message explaining the information needed to start using the Internet.
Commenting on the introduction of this service, Manager of Financial Sector Sales at Omantel’s Corporate Business Unit, Khalid Mohamed al Raisi said, “The demand for our Wi-Fi service has been growing and we are glad to have BankMuscat in our list of corporate customers opting for this unique service. Wi-Fi adds more value to the outstanding services provided by the bank and enables their customers not only to check their emails but also to have full access to all Internet services as if they were at home or at the office.”

By virtue of this partnership, Omantel will introduce the service in the ground floor of the new building of BankMuscat and in some other public facilities in order to enable all customers to benefit from the reliable, secure and high-speed service.”
