His Majesty begins Kuwait visitTue, 17 April 2012
![]() KUWAIT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos arrived here yesterday on a private visit to Kuwait lasting several days. Shaikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, led the welcoming party for His Majesty upon his arrival at Kuwait Airport. His Majesty was also received by Shaikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Heir Apparent, Ahmed al Saadoun, Speaker of Majlis al Ummah, Shaikh Mishaal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Deputy Chief of the National Guard, Shaikh Jaber al Mubarak al Sabah, Prime Minister, Shaikh Ahmed al Hamoud al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Shaikh Sabah al Khalid al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Ahmed al Khalid al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Mohammed Dhaifallah Sharar, Adviser to the Emir of Kuwait, Shaikh Mohammed al Khalid al Sabah, Head of the National Security Service (Head of the Mission of Honour accompanying His Majesty the Sultan), the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Kuwait, senior Kuwaiti officials, and senior commanders of Army, Police and the National Guard. Shaikh Khalifa led the farewell party for His Majesty upon his departure at Al Ain International Airport. His Majesty the Sultan was also seen off by Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed al Nahyan, Representative of the UAE President, Gen Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Heir Apparent of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, Shaikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed, the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, Shaikh Hazzaa bin Zayed al Nahyan, Adviser for National Security, Lt Gen Shaikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Affairs (Head of the Mission of Honour), Royal Family members and shaikhs, Oman’s ambassador to UAE and members of the embassy. |
