OUTLOOK — By Ali Al Matani — Work culture is a complex process in which the family, school and the community takes part. These three entities are like the triangle and such process could not be successful without the co-operation of these three entities in creating the culture of love and loyalty to work, besides consolidating valuable concepts in the minds of children as the basis by which the peoples and nations achieve their progress and renaissance.
The responsibility of the house, school and the community for creating a common awareness among our children about the importance of work is very important for building the future generation on sound basics that could meet the requirements of the next period, and the big efforts are required in this important and vital aspect as one of the most strategic indispensable options.
Any prejudice on the part of these community establishments is a disruption in the supposed building of the normal person who interacts with the community and all the variables that could overcome the challenges and access to the realms of life with all its interactions.
These common responsibilities are still not touching the denominators that are supposed to be shared by such establishments to perform their duties in the best way. Each entity is still blaming the other consciously or unconsciously with the aim of evading such responsibility.
Nowadays, it is time for each entity to know its significant role in establishing the many values that are aimed at preparing good young people and reviving many old basics and foundations in the Omani community that were forgotten by the generations due to many consequent factors and variables.
Reminding people about these determining elements is very important to renew the relationship between the sides of the triangles through activating the stagnant water, reviving the activities known as “Common Responsibilities” in building generations between the house, school and the community and determining the relationship existing between them.
Reviewing these matters occasionally and according to clear mechanisms through some responsible entities could help in bridging the gap and overcoming many difficult aspects to develop such matters.
