MUSCAT — Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hasani, Minister of Information received in his office here yesterday Dr Mohammed al Adil, Chairman of the Turkish Arab Association for Science, Culture and the Arts (TASCA), who is currently visiting the Sultanate as per the invitation of the Omani Journalists Association (OJA).
The meeting discussed aspects of the existing co-operation between the Sultanate and Turkey in the media fields and journalism areas in general, benefiting from the Turkish experiences in these fields. The meeting also touched on the co-operation between TASCA and OJA. The meeting was attended by officials at the Information Ministry and OJA.
Meanwhile, Dr Al Hasani, will launch today the opening of Oman Media Creativity Forum at the SQU conference hall. On the sidelines of the forum, there will be an exhibition on the Japanese culture under the title Japan. The exhibition marks the 40th anniversary of the Omani-Japanese relations. The exhibition will display the Japanese culture, arts and traditions. — ONA
