Wadi Bani Kharoos road completed

MUSCAT — The Ministry of Transport and Communication has recently completed the work on the Wadi Bani Kharoos road with a length of 26 km.
The road connects different villages in Wadi Bani Kharoos in addition to a linkage to Al Halhal and Al Hajeer with a length of 8.7 km so the total length of the road is 34.7 km with a total cost of RO 18 million.
The road serves a number of villages like Stal, Senaiba’, Sawah and Al Alya.
The cross sector of the road includes two asphalted lanes with a width of 7 metres and asphalted arms on each side with a width of 1.5 metres.
The road is equipped with all safety measures like the road signs, drainage facilities and warning signs. The road will contribute at facilitating the movement between villages and will activate the tourism sector as well as reinforce the social relations among residents of the different villages.
