By Issa al Kharusi — MUSCAT — An official at the Public Authority for Consumer Protection has said that the authority received reports indicating sexually arousing chewing gum-like materials are being circulated secretly to target consumers in the Governorate of Muscat and the Governorate of South Batinah. The material is sold in a rectangular shaped gum type of pink packets inside blue cartons, said the official, adding that the white stuff is promoted as a sex empowerment product to men and women. The consumer authority has already sent cautionary notices to the Directorate General of Education in the governorates.
