Almouj Golf welcomed 22 students aged 13 to 17 years old from the Al Amal School for the Deaf to experience the 18-hole championship golf course at The Wave, Muscat. The students were introduced to the world of golf as a friendly, competitive sport that can be played at any age, despite hearing impairments.
During the visit, qualified PGA professionals, harbouring a wealth of experience familiarised the students to the different facets of golf, helping them recognize the diversity of the sport as well as instilling the principals of good sportsmanship, discipline and fair play that are associated with the game.
They also had the opportunity to hit a few balls on the driving range, practiced putting green as well as a toured around the Greg Norman designed golf course. The day concluded with food and beverages served at The Academy Restaurant and Lounge.
