Average pay at private sector

Official statistics show that 73.3 per cent of national manpower working for the private sector receives monthly salaries of RO 180 to RO 300, while 21.7 per cent get RO 300 to RO 800 a month. Only 5 per cent of citizens working for the private sector received more than RO 800. Statistics of the Public Authority for Social Insurance show that the average pay for citizens in March this year stood at RO 323.
