![]() MUSCAT — The Majlis Ash’shura Office yesterday held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal al Maawali, Majlis Ash’shura Chairman. The Office discussed the proposal by one of the members on lighting the Ibri-Hafeet dual carriageway, issues of crushers, quarries and the minerals extracted from them and the Omani female janitors at government schools. The Office also discussed a number of messages by citizens and took appropriate decisions towards them including a message on the status of disabled in the Sultanate and some proposals on housing and social loans, the HE Admission Centre, the Civil Service Pension Fund and a request to reduce electricity tariffs. The Office approved minutes of the previous meeting and reviewed a follow up report of implementing decisions of that meeting. — ONA |
