47th batch of ROP squad graduatesWed, 16 May 2012
![]() NIZWA — The Royal Oman Police (ROP) yesterday celebrated at the military parade ground of Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences the graduation of the 47th batch of police squads and female recruits of the Royal Court Affairs under the auspices of Air Vice-Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The ceremony began with a military salute for the chief guest. He later distributed awards to the top graduates. The chief guest in his speech affirmed that working in the military and security fields is one of the greatest jobs as it is linked with protecting the countries and souls and preserving the values and achievements. The graduation ceremony was attended by Maj Gen Salim bin Mussalam bin Ali Qatan, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs, Shaikh Dr Khalifa bin Hamad al Saadi, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, commanders and officers of the military and security apparatuses, directors of governmental departments, shaikhs, dignitaries of the Wilayat of Nizwa, supervisory and training team. |
