MUSCAT — His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received here yesterday Haroun Ali Sulaiman, Zanzibar Minister of Labour, People’s Economic Empowerment and Co-operatives. Ali Sulaiman conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Dr Ali Mohammed Shein, President of Zanzibar, and the government to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the government and the Omani people. He thanked His Majesty and his government for the continuous support to Zanzibar.
The guest delivered a written message to HH Sayyid Fahd from Saif Shareef Hammad, First Vice-President of Zanzibar, dealing with enhancing bilateral co-operation. They also discussed ways of promoting bilateral co-operation, particularly in economic and investment fields, and regional developments. Ali Sulaiman expressed his delight in visiting the Sultanate which availed him to exchange viewpoints with officials.
