Lufthansa City Center ties up with Khimji’s House of Travel

MUSCAT — Khimji’s House of Travel, the flagship brand for Travel and Tourism Business Services under the Projects and Logistics Group of Khimji Ramdas, is further consolidating its position in the global travel market with its recent appointment as a franchisee office of Lufthansa City Center International.
The inauguration of Lufthansa City Center (LCC) office in Ruwi Street was presided over by Angelika Storz-Chakarji, the German Ambassador to the Sultanate. In a press conference held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel after the offical launch, Andrej Skraba, Senior Area Manager, Central and Eastern Europe and Middle East, pointed out that Lufthansa City Center International started the partnership with Khimji’s House of Travel as one of the best travel brands in Oman.
“This partnership will help promoting the Lufthansa City Center brand in the local market which is similar to other markets where our brand is already well-known. Oman is a very beautiful country and tourism sector is accorded great attention in order to promote Oman worldwide. Thus, the valuable partner, Khimji’s House of Travel will play a vital role in strengthening the cordial relations and tourism between Oman and Germany”, he said.
The Lufthansa City Center brand which is added to our local and well-known company name will as from now flag our corporate identity and complete the range of services offered to our customers. It will also contribute in promoting the Sultanate in general and tourism sector in particular all over the world. It will be promoted in all the countries where Lufthansa City Center offices are available.
With a network of more than 610 offices in over 80 countries, the Lufthansa City Center International travel agency franchise co-operation is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It was established in 1991 and since then it has been experiencing a constant growth.
