KUWAIT — Shaikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, yesterday received Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, who is currently visiting Kuwait.
During the meeting, Bin Alawi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos along with his best wishes of continuous health and well-being to the Emir of Kuwait and the brotherly Kuwaiti people continuous progress and prosperity.
The Emir of Kuwait asked Bin Alawi to convey his greetings along with his best wishes of continuous health and well-being to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, matters of common concern between the two countries and means of promoting all existing strong bilateral fields were touched on, in addition to how to enhance aspects of the joint co-operation between them in all fields.
The meeting was attended from the Omani side by Shaikh Salim bin Suhail al Ma’ashani, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Kuwait, and the delegation accompanying Bin Alawi while it was attended from the Kuwaiti side by Shaikh Sabah al Khalid al Hamad al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Shaikh Ali Jarah al Sabah, Deputy Minister of Emiri Diwan Affairs, and senior Kuwaiti officials. — ONA
