Oman, Swaziland establish diplomatic relations

NEW YORK — The Sultanate and the Kingdom of Swaziland signed a joint statement here yesterday marking the establishment diplomatic relations. The step reflects the keenness of both countries to expand the existing co-operation on grounds of friendship and mutual understanding.
The statement was singed on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman by Lyutha bint Sultan al Mughairiyah, the Sultanate’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), while Zwelethu Mnisi, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Swaziland to the UN, signed the document on behalf of his country. — ONA
